Warga Samarinda digegerkan oleh munculnya seekor buaya di Dermaga Pasar Tambangan Pasar Pagi, Samarinda, Kalimantan Timur, Jumat. Samarinda, 25/9 (Antara/FINROLL News) - Warga Samarinda digegerkan oleh munculnya seekor buaya di Dermaga Pasar Tambangan Pasar Pagi, Samarinda, Kalimantan Timur, Jumat. Dilaporkan, puluhan warga terlihat memadati sepanjang dermaga untuk melihat lebih dekat buaya yang diperkirakan memiliki panjang sekitar tiga meter tersebut. Beberapa warga juga mencoba melemparkan seekor ayam untuk memancing buaya tersebut muncul. Namun, saat muncul di permukaan Sungai Mahakam, buaya tersebut terlihat tidak memangsa ayam yang diumpan warga itu. "Buaya itu tidak seperti buaya muara Sungai Mahakam yang terkenal ganas sebab ayam yang diumpan tidak diapa-apakan. Kemungkinan, buaya itu buaya sungai biasa atau buaya yang lepas dari penangkaran," kata seorang warga di Dermaga Pasar Pagi, Jamaluddin. Buaya itu tiba-tba muncul di bawah dermaga kemudian menghilang lagi. Buaya itu mulai terlihat sekitar pukul 11. 30 wita, kata Juragan Tambangan tersebut. Ia mengaku, munculnya buaya di Dermaga Pasar Pagi tersebut menjadi tontotan warga. "Sejak sebelum Shalat Jumat, puluhan orang bergantian ingin menyaksikan buaya itu muncul. Walaupun munculnya tidak lama tetapi banyak juga warga yang berhasil memotret buaya itu melalui telepon genggam (HP)," kata Jamaluddin. Lebih dua puluhan tahun menjadi Juragan Tambangan di Dermaga Padar Pagi namun Jamaluudin mengaku tidak pernah melihat buaya. "Baru pertama kali ada buaya yang muncul di sekitar sini. Memang, buaya di Sungai Mahakam terkenal sangat banyak dan ganas tetapi hanya ada di muara sungai," katanya. Walaupun baru pertama terjadi, namun kemunculan buaya tersebut kata warga lainnya, Udin, tidak terlalu meresahkan warga. "Kelihatannya buaya itu tidak ganas, sebab beberapa warga sempat mendekati untuk memberikan umpan seekor ayam tetapi dia malah masuk kembali ke air. Buaya itu hanya muncul beberapa menit kemudian hilang dan beberapa saat kemudian timbul lagi," katanya. "Bahkan, buaya itu sudah berpindah-pindah seolah tahu kalau dia ditonton banyak orang," ujar Udin. Hingga Jumat sore, puluhan warga masih terlihat memadati Dermaga Tambangan Pasar Pagi Samarinda untuk menyaksikan kemunculan buaya tersebut. Seentara, aktivitas penyeberangan tambangan dari Samarinda Kota menuju ke Samarinda Seberang tidak terganggu dengan kemunculan buaya tersebut.
